  • Bleed - Match rule. The Arena is booby-trapped with dozens of slashing, piercing, grinding, stabbing, mauling etc. automation curiosities that keep the contestants on their toes.
  • CGL - Continental Gladiator League. Here the sports becomes true. Blood flows more as does the credit transfers between betters. Although far more organized and supervised, CGL is still a minor league. 
  • Clock - Match rule. Depending of the arena, after certain short periods of time, the officials release pulses of gamma-wave radiation, weakening the contestants.
  • Cyber Gladiator 3000 - Groundbreaking bloodsports of the grim future. Men duel against themselves using devastating weaponry to maim their kinsmen. Crowds cheer, and money keeps flowing.
  • Death - Match rule. Glory comes with high stakes. Loser of this match-type is executed immediately after his loss, often in quite spectacular and medieval way.
  • ICGF - Interstellar Cyber Gladiator Federation, the main machine behind the gladiators, teams, tournaments, leagues and rules. They monitor everything that happens within the sport.
  • IGL - Interstellar Gladiator League. The grand league of CG3000. Only true champions partake the massive collasions that most of the IGL matches truly are. The gladiators here are and always will be the most legendary celebrities known to humankind cross the colonies. Money circulating here is gargantuan, and even wars have begun due the ill outcome of IGL tournaments.
  • NGL - National Gladiator League. The lowest level of organized CG3000 tournaments. Rules are few, bets are kept reasonable, gladiators might live to another day. MCL (Mars Convict League) was integrated to NGL in 2989A
  • PCI - Population Control Institution - One of the main sponsors behind CG3000. PCI finds the many CG3000 fan-based death/snuff-broadcasts as a welcomed byproduct in the struggle against overpopulation.
  • PGL - Planetary Gladiator League. First major league to exist. PGL athletes consider themselves professionals, making half of their earnings with trashy broadcast commercials. PGL Arenas are equipped wit latest security protocols, preventing collateral spectator deaths with almost 100% efficiency! 
  • Tag Team - Match rule. In this format, two gladiators form a team for the match. Both teams play one fighter at a time, as the other waits in reserve. Combined with match types such as death, this could lead to spectacular carnage.
  • WGRW - World Gladiator Rights Watch. Organization that tries to remind us about the humane value that the gladiators also have.
